The women’s movement (also called women’s liberation) emerged in the mid 1960s for a myriad of reasons, some of which I mentioned in my lecture. This movement was multifaceted and pluralistic from the very beginning, which is why it can be challenging to study. Since many of the women originally involved in the women’s movement/women’s liberation are still alive today, it’s particularly valuable to hear them describe their experiences.

Please watch the documentary She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry and answer the guided discussion questions listed below. Your assignment should be a minimum of three (3) paragraphs and you do not need to use in-text citations. However, please do your best to reference women from the film using their full names.
