Affective Strategies for Community Health Nurses to Promote Health
The standard I chose is health promotion which is Standard 1 of the Canadian Community Health Nursing Professional Practice Model and Standard of Practice.
you can use three of the 5 promotional strategies,
1) Build Healthy Public Policy (unsure but I need 3)
2) Create Supportive Environments (injection sites, methadone clinics, public health offices for new mothers like the breast feeding clinic and sexual Health, and safebeds)
3) strengthen community actions; public awareness, holding the community accountable,
4) develope personal skills; doing therapy work like CBT or DBT. or going to study more knowledge on aboriginals.
5) reorient Heath services
