A 3 page (800 words, not counting citations/bibliography) review of a recent article or articles that total at least 800 words about an environmental issue such as extinction, climate change or pollution. NASA.gov or NOAA.gov are acceptable sources, other sources should be checked with the teacher. The paper should summarize the article(s) and include 1/3 to1/2 of a page on the possible applications of the research. No more than 25% of the paper should be direct quotes. APA or MLA formatting should be used. Please be careful to avoid ANY plagiarism (which may result in a zero for the paper)! Any factual statement that is not considered common knowledge should have a citation in the text (Author, date) especially if you are including more than one source. Never cut and paste without using quotations and a citation in the text (Mason, 2013) and then list all the full citation at the end of the paper.
