Analyze differences between Siddhartha Gautama and Muhammad as r

1. Whatever topic you have chosen for your paper, first and foremost, you must directly address the following two competencies from your Gen Ed requirements:
a. Arts and Humanities
Students will analyze, interpret, and employ aesthetic, ethical, linguistic, and/or philosophical discourse in relevant contexts; or students will create, perform, interpret, reinterpret, and/or criticize artistic works.
b. Cross-Cultural Awareness
Explain how aspects of culture are integrated into a comprehensive worldview; and then demonstrate how culture influences human behavior.
2. When discussing the above competencies, directly explain how your topic does address them. Do not assume you have done so; make it very obvious
3. Make sure to answer the question ‘WHY’ (as well as ‘HOW’) the phenomenon you are describing is found in the tradition you are presenting. The ‘WHY’ shows you understand the specific manner in which a given group does what you are discussing, rather than in a different manner
4. Make sure you footnote your sources (all of them), by going up to ‘References,’ and then ‘Insert Footnote’. Do not use endnotes or interior notation
5. Your paper should have a title page (with the title, your name, course, section number and date, all prominently listed)
6. The format you choose for your footnotes, sources cited page and body of your paper may be in any of the accepted forms, as long as you are consistent throughout the paper
7. There should also be a ‘Sources Cited’ page (or, ‘Bibliography’) with each of your separate sources listed (including title, author, publisher and date of publication)
8. The paper should be double-spaced, 12-pt. font (either Arial, Times or Times New Roman), with one inch margins and printed in black ink
9. The pages should be numbered at the bottom of the pages, not the title page
