Borderline personality disorder

These are the instructions from my professor
1.) Introduction (1-2 paragraphs in length)
a. Summarize and introduce your topic:
i. Topic – What is it? What is important about it?
ii. Issue – Identify how or why it is problematic/an issue to be addressed – For example: Is it portrayed inaccurately in the media? Is treatment not available? Do many people struggle with it?
b. Thesis Statement – one sentence, that offers a concise summary of the main point or claim of the research paper
2.) Support/Research (2-3 pages in length)
Describe your research in detail. Provide more information about your topic citing information from your scholarly resources throughout your paper as support. Use at least 3 resources. Answer the questions listed above and the following questions:
a. What did you learn?
b. How can your research and learning be applied in the field of Psychology?
c. How can your research and learning be applied in real life situations?
d. Discuss any causes, treatments, debates surrounding the topic, populations affected etc.
3.) Learning and Application: Critically evaluate the research articles used, identifying strengths and weaknesses (at least 3 strengths, and 3 weaknesses; 1 page in length).
a. What else would you like to know about this topic? What questions are you left with?
b. How has this changed or influenced your viewpoint/beliefs about the topic?
c. Did the article accurately depict the topic based on what you learned in your research? How could it have more accurately represented the issue?
d. What recommendations would you make to improve the accuracy and provide a more complete representation of the issue?
e. How has this report contributed to people’s understanding of this issue?
f. Was the research valid and generalizable – what made it valid and generalizable?
4.) Conclusion (1-2 paragraphs in length): Summarize your paper and wrap up any “loose ends”. The reader should not be left wondering if there is more to be said. Be sure you have covered all topics noted in your thesis statement.
Your papeer must be written in APA format and be at least 5 pages in length (body) – it should also include a Title Page and Reference Page in APA FORMAT! It must be double spaced, size 12 font (Times New Roman) with 1 inch margins.
