BUSINESS ETHICS PART 2
As the class is about Ethics, I want you to integrate 2 aspects : Visionary and ethical leadership. What is the distinct, positive and/or perhaps even innovative or unique contribution that your leader makes in his/her field or during the current crisis. Most importantly, the leader you choose for this project must be alive while you are working on this project (NOT a historic figure of the past)yet, it is not mandatory that s/he plays an active role during the pandemic. I also encourage you to choose a leader who is less known.
1) Here are some questions that might help you to tackle your project :
2) What is the leader’s objective ? WHY does s/he work in this field ? Which ethical VALUES influence him/her ?
3)What is the PURPOSE of his/her work ?
4)How does s/he talk (or communicate) about the project/field s/he is involved in ?
5) What will be the impact on other stakeholders (or the planet/environment) of his/her contribution ?
6)How does s/he visualise the future thanks to his/her contribution ?
7) Is it unique/innovative or builds on anything that already exists ?
8) Does s/he try to find a solution to an existing problem (think about your online group work, it started out with a problem and you had to work in your team to find a solution, even create a blog) Did you come across anyone while doing your team projects who stands out as a leader ?)
