Question 1 From your own interpretation of the topic “cultural histories of climate change” scope the concepts, issues and complexities you have identified in relation to issue. (300 words excluding references)
Question 2 Chose two of the topics below and explain how each seeks to contribute to our understanding and management of climate change. You can use one of the topics you discussed in your major essay however you are required to choose a different second topic. I will accept up to a 50% similarity report in Turnitin.

Climate change, water and the Australian drought;
New understandings of the relationship between humans and nature;
Youth and climate activism.
(450 words – please include references if cited in the text but these are not counted as part of the overall word could).
Aims and Objectives This assessment task is designed for you to demonstrate your understanding of the course content over the semester and is directed to consolidating your critical knowledge base. You can use the topics you wrote your mini and major essay on. Finding connections between topics is favoured.
Marking Criteria The exam is assessing the following:
1.Your ability to critically evaluate the literature on your chosen topic
2.Your ability to present an argument based on your own analysis of a chosen topic 3.Your ability to structure your argument clearly (i.e. introduction, a middle section in which the pros and cons of the argument are laid out, and a conclusion in which your original thoughts on the topic are given
4. Your ability to write clearly without grammatical/typological/ spelling errors
