Discuss the life and times of Abraham Lincoln. In your answer you want to
Why is Abraham Lincoln so revered? (And he has been now for over 150 years).
Who was he? How did humble beginnings help him throughout his life? In that regard he is considered extraordinarily wise so to that end I would study his background (such as his constant reading) share some of his quotations and discuss his personal life.
After that I would focus on the Civil War itself – what caused it? What was the war itself like, i.e. four long years and record numbers of causalities. Finally, discuss the death of Lincoln himself and how is legacy grew from it. Then make a final summation of him.
Again – I will work to include notes as soon as possible. Till then take advantage of your textbook and using the internet (I would recommend a library but all – understandably – are closed now).
Folks – again I worked to make this as easy as possible. The key is not to procrastinate. Read, study, and get moving. I have no issue if you turn you materials in early. The problem is when they arrive late and grades have already been posted on June 12th. So again the deadline is June 5th and I will work my tail off to get everything graded and in. I will also factor you extra credit in as well.
