How old is too old to become a parent?
On January 17, 2005, Adriana Iliescu, a 66 year-old unmarried professor, gave birth to a baby, and in December 2006, a 67- year old Spanish woman, Carmela Bousada, gave birth to twins. The Spanish woman died at age 69, leaving behind her 2 year olds.
In 2019, a 74-year-old woman gave birth to twins

after in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
“About 100,000 pregnancy attempts are made each year using in vitro fertilization, in which eggs and sperm are mixed in a lab dish and the resulting embryos are implanted in the womb. Do you think there should be an age limit (and/or other restrictions) for use of reproductive technology? If you think there should be an age limit to the use of reproductive technology, do you support age limits on men having a child? Explain why or why not.
