Write and Think
As you watch and listen to the videos take notes on the major ideas. Make sure to include the speaker’s name, the agency or organization that created the video if given (ABC News??) the title of the talk in quotation marks, and a list of the ideas shared.
For the Submission
A. Draft a paragraph that
1. Begins with a topic sentence presenting major topic of the talks.
2. Then goes on to explain the major information shared in the videos.
3. Ends with a “wrap up” sentence that draws to an end the paragraph.
B. Next, in four or five sentences state your personal reaction to the ideas of the videos.
C. Review the paragraph and the sentences for obvious errors, typos and so on, but submit then as rough first drafts rather than finished, completed, polished writing.
