“Each can be about any Psychology topic that interests you, however, you must make an honest attempt to respond to the Learning Outcomes indicated above. APA formatting is recommended, but not required if you prefer another formatting tradition. Creative writing approaches are also welcomed. Each essay must be three full pages long, double-spaced, font size 12, one-inch margins all around, and submitted through Canvas on the dates indicated below. (An extension on the due dates is allowed.). The cover page, empty spaces on a page, images, long headings and the reference page do not count as narrative text for the three-page writing requirement. The greatest violation you can make in writing an essay is not producing three full pages. Please provide evidence to support the arguments you make, such as examples and citations. Citing the textbook is appropriate for this course. If you cite other readings, please list them on a reference page. See the end of this syllabus for the rubric that will be used to assess your essays. Think of writing as a developmental process, progressively building from your current skills.(I learned English as a second language so I know how challenging it can be to write.)”
