Essay Proposal

In this assignment, you’re going to produce a one-page proposal. This Essay is a cumulative, final product where you will utilize the course content to produce a convincing and persuasive essay on a media-related topic of the global importance of your choice, where you’ll utilize at least two-course readings and employ a particular humanistic or social scientific method of inquiry. In the final essay, you will demonstrate your intellectual growth as a writer, critical thinker, and researcher of mass media.

The following is the proposal template:
Final Essay Proposal:
1. State what your proposed topic is,
2. Outline your argument (at this point at least),
3. Define how your topic is relevant, related to media, and will contribute to scholarly conversations within global and media studies
4. List a number of secondary sources (literature) which you might use for this essay,
5. Define any obstacles which you may encounter in the process, and say how you’ll avoid or overcome them.
The formatting is unimportant. The proposal can consist of bullet-points, but it has to answer all the questions above.
