Evaluating the organization : Discuss the role that hospitality business

Evaluate an existing business organization in the given field of food and beverage focusing on restaurants, fast food establishments in Singapore.
The process framework that is established must be employed to determine whether the goals are established.
Framework:
Introduction
Define the objectives of the organization and accompanied with some historical data on the organization and briefly explained how the organization has evolved to coincide with the present day status in the market today.
Could be specific in the analysis by focusing on the specific areas in the organization. An example could be the facilities offered, effectiveness and efficiency of the employees, menus that cater to all ages in terms of nutrition and the encouragement of pursuing healthy lifestyles. In the given word count students must have depth and objectivity in the essay so it would be specific in the analysis. Focusing on the core competence of the organization.

Research tools
There are essentially two platforms primary and secondary research, primary research is base on surveys and interviews while secondary research is based on academic journals and website. Academic journals area critical tools because this would give more define approach to selecting the given websites.

Competitor/Swot Analysis
Identify the competitor’s 4ps. This is an important platform as it would allow students to use the SWOT analysis where students would use this concept to compare against the competitor (product) on whether the product of the organization that have been selected has a competitive advantage.

SIDE NOTES:
The chosen organization will be either Macdonalds or Starbucks based in Singapore, competitor will be either Burger King or Coffeebean based in Singapore. (you are free to choose and research on them)

SWOT analysis to do comparison with the competitor to look for competitor advantage than how they position themselves to maximizes the effectiveness (e.g Cost, Quality, Healthy lifestyles or what are the platform for promotions). After that you may draw the conclusions by evaluating (making assumption if they achieved their objectives or not because of this or that) and what are their plans for the future
