Data Analysis. State the statistical software and version that you used. Present the data dictionary (in a table, see below) where you gives the name of at least two variables as they called in the software, the labels that describe the variables, and the value labels if there are any categorical variables. These are the codes that were assigned to values of the categories. Explain what techniques were used to screen and clean the data? Report and describe the statistical techniques that you used and state the assumptions that underly the statistical techniques that you used. Please no fancy, complicated, advanced techniques – could be one or more statistical techniques but use only the techniques that are covered in this course.

Limitations. Describe/explain threats to validity that you identified in your study. If none, that would be very unusual, so please explain why there are no threats to validity.

Text, Tables, Figures. Write-up the results using APA style notation for statistical information. Follow APA style for tables: “Data in a table that would require only two or fewer columns and rows should be presented in the text. More complex data is better presented in tabular format. In order for quantitative data to be presented clearly and efficiently, it must be arranged logically, e.g. data to be compared must be presented next to one another (before/after, young/old, male/female, etc.), and statistical information (means, standard deviations, N values) must be presented in separate parts of the table. Tables should only include borders and lines that are needed for clarity (i.e., between elements of a decked head, above column spanners, separating total rows, etc.). Do not use vertical borders, and do not use borders around each cell. Spacing and strict alignment is typically enough to clarify relationships between elements.

Follow APA style for Figures: All figures that are part of the main text require a number using Arabic numerals (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.). Numbers are assigned based on the order in which figures appear in the text and are bolded and left aligned. Under the number, write the title of the figure in italicized title case. The title should be brief, clear, and explanatory, and both the title and number should be double spaced. Add a conclusion section to your term paper and submit for grading on Saturday. Interpret and discuss the results that are supported by evidence (data) from the Results section. Do not focus only on statistical significance, which is simply probability theory, but discuss substantive, practical, meaningful importance of your finding. What do the results reveal in in real-world terms. For instance, the fact that a correlation of .10 was statistically significant is helpful but this correlation is weak and hence perhaps meaningless. Recommended future studies that can overcome the limitations encountered by your study. Provided suggestions for additional insights into the issues/problems. For example, counting the number of posts in online discussion class perhaps reveals something useful about engagement, but says nothing about the quality of the posts.
