The Atlantic World Slavery is the one of the most significant episodes in all of human civilization and forever changed the world. “Transatlantic slave trading gave birth to an Atlantic world of people, goods, and cultures that circulated, collided, and melded together to lay the foundations for much of our modern world. To tell the stories of European expansion, African migration, and the evolution of the New World without the transatlantic slave trade and the people it involved is to ignore a central thread of world history—a history forged by people and forces of economics, politics, technology, disease, wind, and water.” (http://slaveryandremembrance.org) The objective of this paper is to analyze the global impact of Atlantic World Slavery.

Process and Requirements

Step 1 – Review the relevant sections of Inhuman Traffick and the sources below.

Step 2 – Write a paper between 1200-1500 words / 4-5 pages. The paper should have an introduction, three body sections, and a conclusion.

· Section 1 should describe global exploration and the development of the Atlantic World slave trade and their interconnectedness.

· Section 2 should describe the portions of African society affected by the slave trade and human experience of the Middle Passage.

· Section 3 should describe and evaluate the impact of Atlantic World slavery on the society, culture and economy of the Americas.
