literary analysis
Compose a minimum of one substantive, well-written literary analysis. Your paragraph must be 200+ in length and incorporate textual evidence (words, phrases, etc.) that are properly cited (page numbers in parentheses at end of sentence, before the period).
comments should discuss a different text from the one you’ve analyzed in your main/initial post; b) you should write about one work from Group B either in your discussion posts or in the essay assignment due this week
First, explain how the exposition prepares you for what follows. Identify at least two elements of fiction (setting, point of view, diction, irony, etc.) and discuss how they function in the passage.
Next, explicate the concluding paragraph of the selected story. What does the ending imply about the conflict (is it resolved or not?), the character’s development and/or fate, and the story’s theme? Does the ending provide closure, or is it left open for interpretation?
