Ethics:Ethics were brought up because both parents agreed to have Anna for the sole purpose of being a donor child to help their ill child. Anna was never asked if she wanted to donate her stem blood cell and organs , and no one ever asked Kate what she wanted. Upon further examining the situation was either daughter asked what they wanted? Was the procedures explained in its entiretly, was the outcome going to be worth the risk for both Anna and Kate and do parents have the right to make a sibling donate umbiblical cord blood cells, stem cells and organs to keep an already sickly sibling alive with no quality of life who might die anyway. In this instance we would look at autonomy, non maleficence, beneficence, justice.
