Organization Analysis
Apply each of the questions for the particular checklist you chose to each organization/agency/program you selected (Texas Department of Family and Protective Services)
(https://www.dfps.state.tx.us/About_DFPS/Coronavirus/) that focuses on your assigned topic, (Family Stress and COVID-19.) Make sure you carefully examine the website, documents, mission, vision, (and if possible) the annual reporter other publications from this organization (including media materials) so that you can fairly answer each of the questions in the checklist.
In essay format, you will address each of the questions in that Principle Checklist. (Checklist can be found under uploads)
As you assess whether the organization/agency/program addresses each question in a strong/adequate/or Limited manner, you should be integrating course content in your analysis.
Apply the principle of family diversity (Appendix A), the strength and weakness of selected organizations (Section 1, 2 & 3) in supporting the diversity of family life are examined. Which Family types might be affected? The Purpose of carrying this analysis is to examine and evaluate how different racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, and other marginalized families been affected by the culture, policies and practices during the pandemic, and also explore what gaps exist.
