In 500 – 750 words, describe how the sixties scoop and the residential school system affected the ability of Indigenous peoples to pass on their traditions and language. Using at least two examples of tradition and worldview that you have read about in your textbook (such as: The Teaching Rocks, The Talking Circle, Turtle Calendar, Spirit of the Drum, Creation stories, the sacred land, spirituality and interconnectedness, traditional medicine, governance and justice) explain the importance of the tradition and how the inability to receive or pass on each example has/could have impacted multiple generations of survivors, children, and great grandchildren.
