I will be attaching all documents including ones to use in reference (an outline and something I wrote out previously) Please use that to create a personal narrative and Please stick to instructions and rubric 1000%

For this essay, you will write a narrative on one of the five topics:
Your worst (or best) day on the job — this is topic to be used
A moment that led to a significant decision in your life
Meeting someone new or losing someone special
A memorable childhood experience
Using a photo that is meaningful to you, write a narrative about the photo (ex. what happened, who is in it, why it matters to you)
****DO A CHECKLIST BEFORE SUBMITTING
Your narrative should have the following:
A clear purpose (including a thesis)
An identified time and place
A consistent point of view
Consistent verb tenses
Details and sensory appeal
A logical sequence
A thought-provoking conclusion
The final paper should be approximately 750 words.
Introduction -First paragraph has a “grabber” or catchy beginning. The introduction has sufficient background information to support the thesis statement.
Details- The story contains many creative details and/or descriptions that contribute to the reader’s enjoyment.
Conclusion-The narrative comes to a clear conclusion without losing the reader’s interest.
Event Narration-It is very easy for the reader to understand how and why the event changed the narrator.
Thesis/ Topic Sentence-Thesis shows originality and creativity, is well-developed and appropriate for the assignment. All paragraphs have strong topic sentences.
Grammar and Mechanics- There are very few spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors in the final draft.
Document and Format-Document is set up following guidelines.

Feedback regarding what I put for my outline
“— reading over your plan I’m glad to see that you have picked an event that mattered to you. Throughout your plan, most of your language is very abstracted away from what makes for an effective narrative. There is not a story here yet. You mention Target and warehouse work but most of what you have to say about it could take place anywhere. For example, all your “detail” sentences are short on details but long on language summing up how you felt about it. “It was an even greater moment….it increased my believability….focusing on the end results will give you courage.” These are okay as reflections but details should be more concrete and direct. Check out other narratives in the readings to see the difference.”
