Perspectives on Family and Society

The learning outcomes to be met in this project are the following four. It is useful to place these learning objectives at the top of your draft as you are working on it to ensure that the assignment is addressing each one.

Design a project for a service that endeavours to support families and / or individuals to enhance their coping skills and increase their competencies in contemporary society. The project must be positioned in a theoretical framework, work from best practice principles and take a multi-perspective approach. The student is required to demonstrate an ability to critically reflect on the challenges and benefits of the proposed project.

Assignment criteria:
Introduce the project detailing client group, its aims, challenges, constraints and the desired outcomes. Make critical reference to the existing services that seek to address the defined aims. Provide an informative summary of the literature relating to the project. The work must be explicitly embedded in a theoretical framework. Provide an analytical description of the resources needed and how the proposed project will deliver on its stated aims. Finally, the student must discuss how the success of the project will be, or could be evaluated.

Presented with a title page which includes the title, the student’s name, student number, date of submission and the word count. The word count excludes the reference page.
Include an introduction, body and conclusion.
Written in an elegant style, with a good standard of grammar, no contracted words eg., did not must be used rather than didn’t etc.
Accompanied by a declaration page signed by the student regarding plagiarism.
