For my academic background, I completed a 4-year BS in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction with a 3.9 cumulative GPA. I took courses and had extensive training in developing mobile applications and prototyping app interfaces. I also interned for Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific as a Software Test Engineer Intern before getting converted into a full-time employee as a Test and Evaluation Engineer.

For my areas of interest, I really enjoy developing web and mobile applications, especially the process of designing and prototyping them to meet users’ needs, because it’s the critical goal of creating any product as it has to meet users’ expectations and satisfy their user experiences. That is also why I chose the Master’s Computer Science program with Specialization in Interactive Intelligence because the program tailors to my area of interest and help me develop my skillsets.
