Looking for a power point presentation for the below. Taking into consideration my agency is workingfilms.org. Also using NASW. No professional field operates in a vacuum. Social Workers, in particular, must understand the social and political environment in which agencies exist, work is funded, and rules are made. Students will develop a presentation to demonstrate their knowledge of the internal, local, state, and/or federal policies, rules, laws, etc. that impact the work their respective field agencies do, and the clients they serve. Students will download their sample ballot, review all referendum and candidates in contested races. Research and collect collateral information to help students formulate a voting position and explain how the decision could impact your agency/clients, how it aligns with the NASW Code of Ethics, and also how individuals might be committed to an opposing view. Be sure to draw upon information gathered in the Agency Fact Sheet assignment to inform your argument. Positions will be delivered in presentation format, online; power points or other multimedia elements are encouraged. Students will be graded on the completeness of their argument as well as professional presentation skill and style.
