This continuous improvement will ensure they are best able to apply professional judgement and knowledge to help all students succeed.

Create a professional plan to help you in continuing to improve in your practice as a reading specialist/literacy coach. Include the following in the “Professional Plan Template”:
At least 2-3 professional goals specific to improving all students’ reading development and achievement including coaching classroom teachers on how to improve student reading achievement
Minimum of 3-5 steps to help you achieve each goal
At least 2-3 resources and professional organizations for continuous improvement related to each identified goal
In a 250-500 word reflection, discuss the importance of continuous improvement in your professional practice and how this practice will help to improve students’ reading development and achievement.
