Learning principles are often used to shape our behavior. Sometimes they are used deliberately to change our behavior in a planned way, and other times we are not even aware that our behavior is changing.
Identify a target behavior you want to modify. Maybe this is bad habit that you want to decrease the occurrence of (e.g. biting your nails) or maybe it is a behavior you want to increase (e.g. going to the gym.
Describe how you could implement principles of operant conditioning to modify your behavior and produce the desired outcome.
Identify how you could use at least two of the four consequences (positive reinforcement, positive punishment, negative reinforcement, and negative punishment)
Explain which you think would be most effective. Give specific examples to illustrate what you plan to do.
