As a program manager throughout the course, you have identified at least one research problem and examined different types of methods, research designs, and data analysis techniques. Now, it is time to put it all together in a proposed evaluation.
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation in which you discuss your proposed research or intervention. The presentation should include a brief description of the following information:
Title (one slide)
Problem to be addressed (one slide)
Purpose of Study (one slide)
Research Question(s) (one slide)
Brief Literature Review/Background of what has been done before (one to two slides)
Methodology proposed with justification (one slide)
Research Design proposed with justification (one to two slides)
Data collection proposed with justification (one slide)
Data Analysis/Statistical Tests proposed with justification (one slide)
Strengths of proposed plan (one slide)
Weaknesses of proposed plan (one slide)
Potential Program or Policy Implications (one to two slides)
The research proposal may use any appropriate method or a combination of methods covered by this course. It may deal with any topic related to public administration, and it may or may not be the same topic covered in a previous assignment in this course. If you have any concern regarding the appropriateness of topic, please contact your instructor.
Length: 12-15 slides, not including title and reference slides
Notes Length: 400-500 words for each slide
