Public Transportation Project Part 2

*This is a 3 part project and I have posted all 3 separately. I would prefer someone that would do all 3 because they all are based off each other.*

The use and availability of Public Transportation is seen as the cornerstone of a successful urban space. Efficient public transportation allows people to move more freely around the city center and allows greater social mobility and proximity to work. Public transportation is the lived reality and necessity for many people who live below the poverty line, or who do not have reliable personal transportation options.

This project will allow students the opportunity to evaluate the public transportation systems in place in their chosen city. Students will choose a destination and they are to travel too this location using only public transportation. Each student will write about their experiences and take and upload photos of their trip. Since this is virtual make sure that you log times, and screen caps of the routes that you would have to take using only public transportation. The following criteria should be met for the assignment:

Students will begin their trip from a neighborhood street address
Students will travel to their destination using any means of public transportation that is available to the public. Cabs will be off limits to students since the cost of taking cabs on a daily basis is inaccessible to most of the public.
Students will take a picture at the start of their trip, while on their way using public transportation, and at their destination. These photos should be uploaded to Canvas along with your written portion. Since these are screen caps using Google Maps make sure to take lots of screen shots along the way.
Students will produce written work that chronicles their experience using public transportation: Was is difficult? How Difficult? How long did the experience take? Is the public transportation system in your location a usable option for people going to and from work? To and from specific destinations? Would you be able to use public transportation if you had to in order to get around? Plus, any other observations that come up.
Students will post their responses on Canvas

This project will give you a glimpse into the lives of people using public transportation that do not have access to reliable transportation via a personal car and you should keep this in mind as you are completing the project. The project should be 3-5 pages written with at least 3 photos.
