In no more than 2 pages, contextualize this event or issue within its colonial underpinnings, drawing on at least 1 relevant course reading from Weeks 1 through 5. Also pick one concept/theory to focus on. Main focus is analytical depth (Note: Referencing more readings is not necessarily better. I am looking for quality and depth of engagement rather than quantity.)
