Your journal should be a well-organized, critical analysis of your experience with the readings and may involve:
– reflections that compare, contrast, or connect across readings
– IN TEXT CITATIONS NEEDED, APA format
– critiques, agreement, and/or opinions formed about certain topics and what has led you to that position
– questions and ideas for future research based on the readings
– (if applicable) how you might foresee yourself connecting some of the material to your academic or professional life going forward
– what got you most engaged, excited, confused, or interested about this set of topics
Your response should NOT be a summary of the readings
You can discuss as many of the readings as you want, but please make sure to discuss at least 2 separate readings
You can have multiple “sections” of your reflection that do not necessarily connect to each other, if that is preferred to you, but please indicate this with headings or something similar
You are welcome to include outside readings, as appropriate, to support and/or extend your reflections
