As a vice president of a financial services company, you serve many clients and they sometimes ask your company to contribute to their favorite charities. You recently received a letter from Elliana Larios asking for a substantial contribution to Interval House Crisis Shelters & Centers for Victims of Domestic Violence. On visits toy our office, she has told you about the model charity’s programs to provide comprehensive domestic violence services in over 70 languages to individuals and families in Los Angeles County and Orange County. Elliana herself is active as one of many Interval House volunteers who help ensure the safety of people whoa re battered, abused, or at risk; create public awareness about the epidemic of violence and mobilize the community to prevent and end violence.

You are impressed by this highly decorated charity, recognized with over 500 awards, including four Presidential Awards and four Governor’s Awards.
