Dissemination strategies are used for spreading knowledge by associating evidence based practice interventions on a wide scale of locations, people, and settings (Communication, 2012). Dissemination strategies should be time efficient, consistent with organizational climate, culture, and research and must also align with the skills of the staff members (Brownson, 2018).
Two dissemination strategies that would interest me the most to use are unit-level presentation and organizational-level presentation. When using the unit-level presentation it is most important to focus on the main issues and correcting the underlying problem. Organizational level presentation focus’s on the facility itself and having a plan in order to improve the underlying issue as well.

The least effective dissemination strategy would be a poster presentation. The poster presentation normally lacks information, excitement to the presentation, and the visibility to the board itself maybe limited depending where people are sitting which will result in the loss of attention. Including all of the information needed into one poster is a very difficult task and one might be on a thin line of adding to much information to the board and make it overwhelming, or adding to little information to the board and not catch attention of your peers.
Barriers that might be involved in the poster presentation is the lack of interest from your peers. In order to overcome that barrier, getting the peers that are listening to your presentation involved would potentially draw more attention. One could do this by asking open questions for your peers to answer but also make statements that might be able to get others involved in the conversation. With adding conversations between peers might bring more interest to the topic.
