Class Project 1 (100 points towards Final Project) There are 96 test scores. Using the following class levels: 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90 -100, you will do the following: 1. Build a frequency distribution table with frequencies (count), relative frequency and cumulative frequency. 2. Using Excel create the frequency table and insert a bar graph using the class interval levels and the frequencies from each class interval. 3. Create a pie chart using the relative frequencies. 4. Calculate the range 5. Calculate the mean, median, the mode 6. Calculate the sample standard deviation and variance. 7. Determine any outliers 8. Determine which is the best way to determine the average score using the mean, the median or the mode. Explain why? 9. Determine the 5 number summary. 10. Calculate the interquartile range (IQR) The project should be in Excel but to facilitate the grading, you will need to print the excel worksheet with the two graphs and the answers can be given in a Word document. The excel graphs and word document should be neatly stapled. This needs to be a well presented job. Handwritten results and / or last minute results will not be accepted. You should make an effort to turn in a professional document, as if you were presenting this in your professional job. You may use Excel to help you calculate the mean, median, mode, the standard deviation and the variance.
