The Next Generation Sports is a Spanish founded company which operates in the sport sector. The Next Generation Sports is a football consultancy agency mainly focused on the younger generation.

It has been founded by 2 brothers who wanted to improve sport capabilities for football players, and they are still leading the company. TNGS exist for more than 10 years and their service is well known and appreciated in the football industry, however, when the company was first founded there was no competition, only with all the new technology in the football industry this kept on chancing throughout the years. Currently there are more 30 competitors with the same service located in Spain.
These competitors are a big threat to The Next Generation Sports, because their implementing the same services in the same market and this makes the market position of TNGS vulnerable.
The Next Generation Sports is not aware of these services from competitors and therefore this report is created.

This research is made to create insight in the competition of the football market in Spain for TNGS. The 12th biggest competitors are assessed and investigated, while comparing prices, services and other aspects. This is shown in tables, to give clear insight and a good overview which aspects of the services are available for the different competitors.

The research conducted for this report has been done by using Internet, approaching competitors by email for information, and interviews with colleagues about competitor experiences.

The concrete findings are that every competitor is involved in the same type of business as TNGS and has similar services but introduce different technologies and methodology in the same market. However, the competitors are expanding their services as well, this means for TNGS that they must continue with their good service to maintain this position. Implementing new football clinics in other countries and coaches’ clinics within Spain to expand The Next Generations Sports internationally even further.

Researching the market in Spain has been a lot, however conducting extensive investigation has allowed the student to create this report and identify the competitors of The Next Generation Sports and therefore gave TNGS clear insight in the whereabouts of their competition.
