The Term Paper should be 8 to 10 pages and turned in on safe-assign. If you have graphs or pictures, it can run longer. Please use double spacing and narrow margins. Ariel font 12 pt is fine. List your references in a format that allows me to search them if I need to,
The first paragraph and title should clearly state the topic of the paper. You would be surprised how many students sit and start writing with no idea where the paper is leading the reader or go back and never correct the intro if the paper changes direction.
Assignment: Pick a transportation topic and provide additional research on the topic expanding any basic information included in the books or lectures. Become an expert on the topic. It is always best to pick a topic you are interested in because the papers end up being much better. It should be well written and academic in nature. Your paper should be forward-thinking.
