Ventilation and COVID 19 Patients
The instructions from the class are: Define the topic in your introduction and conduct a literature review to provide supporting evidence to the importance of your research question. You will then discuss the gaps in the literature and provide an overall conclusion to your research of literature, and describe the significance of the research you are suggesting.
My thesis is as follows: While there is no perfect way to ventilate a COVID 19 patient as no two patients are the same, lung protective strategies must be used because improper ventilation can damage already healthy lungs, lungs of COVID 19 patients are already in a fragile state, and COVID 19 patients are ventilated longer and are at more risk for lung damage.
Please feel free to modify the thesis to fit the research. I have included the sources I have found and would like to have used. If the sources do not work well or support the thesis well enough please change as you see fit. The sources must be from trusted medical journals or sources.
